ONE DAY IN DÜSSELDORF

Hallo meine Lieben,

na wie geht es euch denn so? Ich bin völlig müde und werde bald tot ins Bett fallen; das Wetter macht mich wieder so schläfrig und auch waren die letzten zwei Tage vollbepackt.

Gestern waren wir mit der Klasse in Düsseldorf, um genauer zu sein auf der Drucktechnik Messe "Drupa". Dort angekommen stellte sich schnell heraus, dass einige von uns nicht den ganzen Tag dort verbringen wollten. Also machten wir uns auf den Weg in die Innenstadt.

Es war schon eine ganze Weile her dass ich in Düsseldorf war, aber vieles hatte sich nicht geändert. Wir waren auf der Königsallee, dann lecker essen in Mosch Mosch, später beim Starbucks und auch einen Besuch im Dunkin Donuts konnten wir uns nicht verkneifen. Schließlich waren wir in der Altstadt und dann am Rhein. Mir hat die Stadt sehr gut gefallen um ehrlich zu sein. Mein nächster Besuch wird nicht lange auf sich warten lassen!

Haul: Risqué, Cliché e Catrice

Como disse no post dos produtos terminados de Abril, o meu top coat acabou, então decidi experimentar este top coat da Risqué com óleo de Orquídea. Não sou muito fã dos vernizes da Risqué mas vamos ver como se comporta este top coat. Custou €2,50.

E claro tinha de comprar mais alguns vernizes da Cliché para juntar à minha colecção, desta vez foi o Flor de Liz, o Cancun, o Marfim e o Tatoo. Custaram cada um 1€.

Today's style icons is a singer/pianist whom I've been obssessed for a long time, but was somewhat forgotten after the introduction of miss Chung in my life (circa 2009). I used to like her so much she was my display picture EVERYWHERE and I even dyed my hair ginger because she made it look awesome.

Eu gostava tanto do estilo dela que era a minha foto do Msn e outras plataformas afins (e até pintei o cabelo de ruivo a dada altura inspirada pela senhora)

Alison Sudol is A Fine Frenzy, and she has the cutest vintage inspired style, impecably done hair and, since we're on the hair department, had the coolest shade of ginger (she's blonde now. Why Alison?!) God, I want to be ginger again!

Alison Sudol é A Fine Frenzy, e tem um estilo inspirado em roupas vintage mais fofo que alguma vez vi, cabelo impecavelmente penteado e com a cor mais perfeita de todo o sempre (apesar de agora o ter pintado de louro). Porque é que eu deixei de ser ruiva e pintei o cabelo com de rato de esgoto? Não sei.

I started listening to her music because of her impecable style, and even though I'm not a fan, I absolutely adore the stopmotion short film "Lost things" she starred in, which is pretty much a music video of her song "Sleepwalking" (and is directed by photographer/artist Anglea Kohler, who has some really neat works)

Começei a ouvir músicas dela por causa do seu estilo oh-tão-perfeito, e apesar de não ser grande fã, fiquei apaixonada pela música "Sleepwalking", que é a banda sonora da curta "Lost things", realizado pela fotógrafa e artista Angela Kohler (definitivamente vale a pena dar uma olhadela aos trabalhos dela, são adoráveis). Ah, e a estrela da curta é a própria Sudol, que faz 1001 coisas fofas durante 2 minutos e pouco. Também vale muito a pena ver!
